Summit Chorale COVID-19 Safety Measures
The board has decided to implement a number of safety measures in order to reduce the likelihood of spreading COVID-19 within our choir, and to reduce the likelihood of spreading COVID-19 to our audiences:
These safety measures were implemented based on a review of current medical literature; current CDC guidance; current best practices implemented by other community choirs; and feedback we received from the Chorale via the survey. As the coronavirus situation changes, we will change our safety measures accordingly.
- All singers must provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination to sing in-person. This may be in the form of a picture of a completed vaccination card emailed to [email protected], or presented in-person
- All singers who are unable to be vaccinated due to medical reasons and who wish to sing in-person must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test before each event, either emailed to [email protected] or presented in-person. Each test must be taken no earlier than 7 days prior to the event
- All singers and audience members must wear facemasks at all times; KN95 respirators are recommended, but not required
- All singers and audience members must sign a COVID-19 waiver that releases the Chorale and the venue in which we are meeting from any liability related to contracting COVID-19 or other infectious respiratory disease
- All singers and audience members will be screened for temperature and COVID-19 symptoms upon arrival
- The Chorale will maintain contact tracing records (Name, address, email, phone number) for all singers and audience members for each event
- All rehearsals and performances will be live-streamed
