Revenue from ticket sales covers only about a third of our costs (which include rents for facilities, performance space charges, director and accompanist fees, our Scholarship program, printing costs, orchestral musician's fees and so on)! We receive generous financial support from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment of the Arts, through grants administered by the Union County Division of Cultural & Heritage Affairs. Member dues also pay a portion, but the most important part of our support is the generous contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations who support Summit Chorale and the arts.

Contributions to Summit Chorale are entirely tax-deductible. When combined with a season subscription, you can not only support the arts but you can directly enjoy the benefits of this support as well.

Also, if your company has a Matching Gift program, your contributions' impact could be multiplied by simply filling out some form(s).

In the Northern New Jersey area, funds you donate to the United Way can be explicitly directed to Summit Chorale. If you're already giving to the United Way, consider directing some or all of your donations to support our organization. And even if you're not in the northern New Jersey area, you can help the artistic development of this state, region and country by supporting the arts either directly or indirectly. Write to your congressmen and tell them that you think that funding the arts is important. Volunteer your time or services to organizations, like this one, that rely on volunteerism so heavily. Provide "in-kind" gifts like printing services, paper, or rehearsal space and time, for example. Or make financial contributions. There are many ways to help make the community - yours and ours - a better place to live.

So, please join in the effort to help us bring you the best in musical programs at reasonable prices. You will be pleased with the return on your investment!
