What is PayPal?

How does PayPal work?
Without going into all the details, here's an overview of how PayPal works with the Summit Chorale Online Store:
- You open a FREE account with PayPal - this step is fast, easy, and secure. You can even open the account as part of the checkout process (described in brief below), instead of a separate step.
- You select what items you want from the Summit Shorale Online Store by clicking on an "Add to Cart" button. Items are added to your shopping cart with a default quantity of 1.
- At any time you can view the contents of your shopping cart by clicking on a "View Cart" button in the Summit Chorale Online Store. Within the shopping cart view you can change the quantities of individual items or remove items.
- When you're done shopping, click the 'Checkout' button within the shopping cart display.
- At checkout, Paypal will have you supply your PayPal account login credentials (your Email address and a Password of your choosing) to complete the purchase. If you do not have one, you can create one at this point. PayPal asks for your billing information (Name, Address, etc.) and credit card information. Summit Chorale does not receive any of your credit card information from PayPal at any time. They process and clear the transaction, on our behalf, and then transfer the funds into our account.
