Conducting Master Class
Maestro Garrin will coach and guide five Conducting Fellows through an SATB composition, offering guidance and tips that will get you to explore your gesture and how it relates to sound and rehearsal process. Or, sign up as a Participant and observe as a member of the lab-choir with Summit Chorale members. See how each individual's conducting will transform the sound of the Chorale through changing the conducting technique. Enjoy the fellowship of colleagues and exchange ideas at breaks and after at our reception. More info.

Family Holiday Sing
Now in its 18th year... but this year we're doing things a little differently, with our special guests: the Summit High School Chamber Choir (Wayne Mallette, director). Come raise your voice in song, as the audience becomes the chorus. Help us (and each other) sing carols and other songs marking the season... always fun for everyone in attendance. Christine Z. Muller Scholarship Competition
Leigh Emery photoLeigh Emery was awarded the 2006 Christine Z. Muller Memorial Scholarship by Summit Chorale. Graduating from Jefferson Township High School in June 2006, Leigh, a resident of Lake Hopatcong, won because of her outstanding achievements as a soprano, exemplified by her submitted performances of Stefano Donaudy's Come l'Allodoletta and Richard Strauss' Breit über Mein Haupt. This fall she will attend Westminster Choir College of Rider University to begin studies in voice performance and music education.
