 OPEN REHEARSAL Summit Chorale is celebrating National Arts & Humanities Month by hosting an open rehearsal - visit the Chorale and experience some of what goes into preparing a concert. Free admission.
 Camille Saint-Saëns' Christmas Oratorio, carols in especially rich arrangements, and Garyth Nair's Echo Carol Fantasy - with the Lakeland Youth Symphony. And, of course, our perennial audience hymn sing ...
 Now in it's 12th year! Help us (and each other) sing excerpts from Handel's masterpiece ... always fun for everyone in attendance. This year we're featuring Penna Rose and Garyth Nair as conductors and Dr. Barbara Rogers behind the organ console. Admission is free (donations are accepted) and scores can be borrowed for a $2.00 refundable deposit. This event is co-sponsored by Central Presbyterian Church.
MEET THE COMPOSER / LECTURE  John Kaefer, in conversation with our own Garyth Nair, reflects on the creation of his new work for chorus & orchestra, Psalm 27, and other aspects of 20th-century American music. Free admission. Reception following the program.
 Summit Chorale is honored to present the world premiere of Psalm 27 by the gifted young New Jersey composer John Kaefer, as well as Leonard Bernstein's Chichester Psalms and David Diamond's Music for Romeo and Juliet. With the Chamber Symphony of New Jersey.
 Works by Dutch and Flemish composers from the Renaissance through Sweelinck in the 16th century to Piet Kee and Hendrik Andriessen in the 20th. Featuring an organ performance by world-renowned organist Piet Kee, the World Premiere of his choral work The World and the Western Hemisphere premiere of his instrumental piece Network.
 A one-day festival for Children's Choirs from the area, sponsored by Summit Chorale. The day will culminate in a 4:00pm concert expected to delight all listeners (not just the parents)!
