Glorious! Summit Chorale Concert
Distinguished soprano Rochelle Ellis once again joins Summit Chorale for an evening of Glorious! choral music, on Saturday, March 4, at 8 pm at the Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township, 240 Southern Blvd., Chatham Township, NJ. The program features Gloria by the modern French composer Francis Poulenc and Magnificat by the baroque Italian composer Giovanni Battista Pergolesi.

Ms. Ellis performs the solos in Poulenc's Gloria, for which she previously garnered acclaim with the Houston Symphony Orchestra. Local audiences last enjoyed her vocal gifts when she sang with Summit Chorale in the February 2005 performance of Donald McCullough's moving Holocaust Cantata.

Summit Chorale, now in its 97th season, will be accompanied by pianist Douglas Keilitz and a chamber orchestra under the baton of music director Richard Garrin.

Tickets are $20 adult, $18 senior, and $10 student, all with $2 discount for advance purchase. Tickets may be purchased by phone at (973) 762-8486, on the Internet at www.summitchorale.org, from Chorale members, or at the concert. The audience is invited to a post-concert reception.
