Directions - Area Information
From Newark Airport vicinity - Garden State Parkway, NJ Turnpike, etc.
- Proceed on Interstate 78 West.
- Take Exit 50 from Interstate 78 (Marked for Irvington, Maplewood, Millburn, etc.) onto Vauxhall Road. At the end of the ramp, Turn Right onto Vauxhall Road.
- Go through two lights (one is immediately after you have turned onto Vauxhall, the second is notable because there are gas stations on three corners of the intersection).
- At the next light, turn right onto Valley Street.
- Proceed on Valley Street for approximately 1.25 miles to the intersection with Parker Avenue. This is also the fifth traffic light (the second and third lights are very close together).
- Columbia High School is on the farther right corner, at the intersection of Parker Avenue & Valley Street.
- If you make a left onto Parker Avenue, parking is available in the public lots just a short distance down the street on both sides.
From the Summit, NJ area and points West - Interstate 287 and Western Interstate 78
- Proceed on Interstate 78 East (or State Route 24 East, which merges into Interstate 78 - Stay local rather than express).
- Take Exit 49 - Maplewood, onto Springfield Avenue.
- Continue straight out of the exit on Springfield Avenue to the second traffic light. This intersection is notable because there are gas stations on three corners.
- Turn left onto Vauxhall Road.
- At the next light, Turn Right onto Valley Street.
- Proceed on Valley Street for approximately 1.25 miles to the intersection with Parker Avenue. This is also the fifth traffic light (the second and third lights are very close together).
- Columbia High School is on the farther right corner, at the intersection of Parker Avenue & Valley Street.
- If you make a left onto Parker Avenue, parking is available in the public lots just a short distance down the street on both sides.
From Millburn, Short Hills and area
- Proceed on Millburn Avenue North/West through and past the center of Millburn.
- Proceed straight through the intersection of Millburn Avenue with Vauxhall Road, which is a large wide intersection with an Exxon station on one corner.
- At the next light, Turn Left onto Valley Street.
- Proceed on Valley Street for approximately 1.1 miles to the intersection with Parker Avenue. This is also the fifth traffic light (the second and third lights are very close together).
- Columbia High School is on the farther right corner, at the intersection of Parker Avenue & Valley Street.
- If you make a left onto Parker Avenue, parking is available in the public lots just a short distance down the street on both sides.
