From Newark Airport vicinity and points East - Garden State Parkway, NJ Turnpike, etc.
- Proceed on Interstate 78 West.
- Take Exit 43 from Interstate 78 - New Providence/Berkeley Heights.
- At the end of the ramp, merge onto Diamond Hill Road heading North (you have no choice).
- At the second light the name of the road changes to Union Avenue - proceed straight through the light.
- Proceed on Union Avenue for about 1.3 miles to the "T" intersection with Springfield Avenue.
- Turn right onto Springfield Avenue.
- Proceed on Springfield Avenue through 1 light for approximately 3/4 mile total.
- On the left side of the road you will notice the United Methodist Church of New Providence.
- Turn left into the driveway for the church, which is just after the church building.
- Parking is available in the lot behind the church.
From Morristown and points North & West, via Summit
- Proceed on NJ Route 24 East.
- Take Exit 8 - Summit Avenue/Summit/Chatham exit). The exit dumps you onto the Route 24 Service Road.
- At the first light, turn right onto Summit Avenue.
- Proceed south on Summit Avenue for approximately 1.1 miles to the first light, at the intersection with Springfield Avenue.
- Turn right onto Springfield Avenue.
- Proceed West on Springfield Avenue (Union County route 512) for about 2.9 miles to the 7th traffic light at the intersection with South Street/Passaic Street.
- Proceed about 1/3 mile more straight ahead on Springfield Avenue.
- You will notice the United Methodist Church of New Providence on the right side of the road.
- Immediately after the main sanctuary of the church, turn right into the second driveway (the first is an exit only, although it is not well marked).
- Parking is available in the lot behind the church.
From points South & West - Southern Interstate 287 and Western Interstate 78
- Proceed on Interstate 78 East.
- Take Exit 44 - New Providence/Berkeley Heights.
- At the end of the ramp, make a left at the light onto Glenside Avenue/Union County 527.
- Follow Glenside Avenue north about 0.4 miles to the first opportunity to turn left, looking for the New Providence sign. Take care finding this interesection especially at night - it is not very well marked.
- Turn left onto Glenside Road. This will take you back under Interstate 78.
- Proceed on Glenside Road (which becomes South Street as you go through the first light) for approximately 1.7 miles to the 3rd traffic light at the intersection with Springfield Avenue.
- Turn left onto Springfield Avenue.
- Proceed about 1/3 mile on Springfield Avenue.
- You will notice the United Methodist Church of New Providence on the right side of the road.
- Immediately after the main sanctuary of the church, turn right into the second driveway (the first is an exit only, although it is not well marked).
Parking is available in the lot behind the church.
