Executive Director, Darlene Southard Wyzga has more than 20 years of experience in IT and management consulting, working for Prudential and Accenture. She brings extensive organizational experience in project management and process improvement while being deeply committed to the choral arts. This is the third choral arts Board of Trustees for Ms. Wyzga, previously fulfilling roles as Secretary, Treasurer and Vice-President, before her appointment in July 2008 as Summit Chorale’s first Executive Director. During Summit Chorale’s 99th Season, she served as Interim Artistic Director and successfully transitioned the group as they began their 100th season with its present Artistic Director, Dr. Thomas Juneau.
Ms. Wyzga has been singing with Summit Chorale since 2004, and during the mid '90's. She has performed with many groups over the last 20 years, including Ridge Light Opera, Harmonium, Princeton Pro Musica, and Masterwork. Currently, Ms. Wyzga is the soprano section leader at St. Paul’s Church (Episcopal) in Chatham and maintains a private voice studio. She lives in Dover with her husband, Doug and daughter, Gabby. |
